For most Intel / AMD computers, choose Windows standard version; Windows ARM devices should choose the version with ARM marked. If you want a portable version that does not install to the system, choose the portable version for the same architecture.

If you're not sure of your device architecture, open Windows “Settings → System → System information” and check “System type.”

2. Install and launch

  1. Double-click the downloaded installer;

  2. When Windows shows a User Account Control prompt, confirm the file is from the official source and choose Continue;

  3. Follow the installation wizard to complete the installation;

  4. Launch Cherry Studio from the Start menu.

Frequently Asked Questions

Prompt about missing runtime libraries

The installer will detect the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library that matches your device architecture; if it is missing, it will automatically download and install it.

If automatic download or installation fails, open the Microsoft official download page according to the error message, then rerun the Cherry Studio installer after installation:

Unable to start

First confirm that the installer architecture matches your device, and check whether security software has blocked it. If it still won't start, please include the Windows version, device architecture, installer name, and the full error message in your feedback.

After you see the Cherry Studio main interface, continue to complete the quick start.
