Input Toolbar and Productivity Tools

The current chat and Agent input areas use a unified tool panel. Frequently used buttons can be pinned to the toolbar, while less commonly used capabilities can still be found in the [+] panel.

Path: any chat or Agent input area → [+] → [Customize Toolbar].
You can turn tool toggles on or off, and drag pinned tools to adjust their order. Chat and Agent each save their toolbar layout separately; choosing [Restore Defaults] will restore the initial arrangement for that input area.
Common tools include attachments, image generation, web search, knowledge base, prompt management, and Agent permission mode. Tools not supported by the current model or page will show a reason or not appear.
The separate [Quick Phrases] entry in older tutorials has been changed. Now open [Prompt Management] from the input area's tool panel.
Path: [Settings] → [Keyboard Shortcuts]. You can search and modify shortcuts by group; if there is a conflict, the app will indicate which action is using it. Common default items include opening settings, searching the current chat, selecting a model, and toggling the left and right sidebars.
[Quick Assistant]: open a lightweight window via the tray or a keyboard shortcut, suitable for asking questions anytime or handling clipboard content;
[Text Selection Assistant]: after selecting text in another app, open the toolbar; you can configure the trigger method, actions, and window behavior.
Both features are configured in the [Productivity] section of [Settings]. macOS may require system accessibility permissions; the Wayland environment on Linux has additional restrictions on toolbar positioning, and the interface will display corresponding prompts.
Customer support turned “explain refund progress,” “request additional logs,” and “convert to a formal email” into three prompts, and pinned [Prompt Management] and the attachment button. When an issue comes up, they insert the template and then add the order and context; when they need to quickly rewrite a piece of text in another app, they use the text selection assistant without switching back to the main window.
